Retiring after 9-years of loyal service

Today is sad for our dog section as detection dog "Alfie" retires from frontline duties. Alfie has been with the company since he was a mere 11 weeks old, and now aged 9, it is time for him to enjoy his retirement.

Alfie will now enjoy his retirement as a family dog alongside Daniel, our CEO, but will no doubt make regular visits to the office and see colleagues occasionally.

Over the years, Alfie has helped us find narcotics and paraphernalia at events, sports stadia, transport hubs, shopping centres and workplaces too. Now the only thing he will sniff out is his next treat, the occasional Dentastick - or maybe one of his favourite toys.

It is not all sad news, though. In the coming weeks, we look forward to sharing details of our new canine companions with plans to welcome another two detection dogs and four general-purpose dogs.
