Protecting what matters… to Scouting.
We recognise the importance of Scouting, and believe in the opportunities for them to push themselves physically, intellectually, socially and spiritually. This is why we have created a range of tailored security solutions to do our bit in protecting Scouting and why we actively contribute to Scouting in our local communities.
A security service that is compatible with modern Scouting
When working with Scouting, we adopt and undertake to uphold the values and ethics of Scouting, and subscribe to the Code of Conduct for Service Contractors as published by Scout Headquarters. Details of these undertakings are published in our ‘Working With Scouting’ manual, a copy of which is available to any Member of the Scout Association.
In summary of those undertakings, Code 9 Security have special arrangements in place for all of our colleagues and officers that support Scouting and Scouting related assignments which includes enhanced vetting, advanced safeguarding training and tailored service behaviour training - including the adoption of the ‘Yellow Card’ and ‘Purple Card’. We also actively encourage our colleagues to volunteer with their local Scout Group, or to support as an Occasional Helper, where their personal circumstances permit.
